Beginning in January 2025 the New Hampshire Division of Historical Resources will launch an updated version of EMMIT. Known as EMMIT+, this new application will no longer require a subscription fee. All existing users will be required to create a new user account.
EMMIT+ will also handle all Review & Compliance consultation processes. This new web-based cultural resource information system will allow applicants to submit required documentation electronically with direct access to project tracking and digital review responses by DHR staff.
Please check the DHR website https://www.nhdhr.dncr.nh.gov/emmit in December for instructions on how to access and use EMMIT+.

EMMIT has been funded in part with federal Emergency Supplemental funding from the Historic Preservation Fund (ESHPF) through the National Park Service, Department of the Interior (DOI) as a result of Superstorm Sandy. Its contents and opinions do not necessarily reflect the views or policies of DOI, nor does the mention of trade names or commercial products constitute DOI endorsement or recommendation.
EMMIT has also been funded in part by the State of New Hampshire Conservation and Heritage License Plate Program. All funds raised through the purchase of state Conservation License Plates are used for the promotion, protection and investment in New Hampshire's historic, natural, and cultural resources.
Subscribing provides you with enhanced search capabilities, document downloads, and access to more detailed data and restricted resources.
You can enter the site without an account, however, search capabilities will be limited to the map, documents cannot be downloaded, and other resources are restricted.
Using Guest View for an RPR records search does not provide the necessary information needed for DHR review. A subscription is required for all RPR records searches.
